I drive past the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Ct. often on I-95. The thought occurs to me when I see the electronic marquee that advertises coming attractions, when is this venue going to book another band I want to see?

Over the years the Arena At Harbor Yard has held events that we have attended. We have seen Cher and The Who perform live there. I have been there several times for WWE matches which were a total hoot to experience. The Webster Bank Arena has lots of 10,000+ seat competition in our state with Mohegan Sun Casino Arena in Uncasville, the XL Center and Comcast Theaters in Hartford.

I was so buzzed to see that Neil Young & Crazy Horse, with The Patti Smith Group coming to our neighborhood. We live 20 minutes from this venue. They are is closing their tour at the Webster Bank Arena on December 4th. I have been wanting to see Patti Smith perform rock music with her group after seeing her several times with Lenny Kaye and her daughter Jesse Paris in New York City.The synergy that is building between Neil Young and Patti Smith is forming a literary collaboration imbued with artistic mutual respect. love and admiration.

I bought tickets this morning, taking advantage of the Internet pre-sale option. I was fortunate to receive a password from Webster Bank Arena yesterday.
