Apple’s iPad – The Revolution Will Not Be Televised

“The revolution will not be televised” – Gil Scott-Heron

“The revolution will not be re-run brothers; The revolution will be live.”

The revolution is taking place on Apple’s iPad display device. Adobe and Wired Magazine have partnered to deliver a radical digital interactive magazine that transforms publishing and the magazine experience.

Read the Wired Magazine article, then if you own an iPad or can get access to one I encourage you to interact with this revolutionary Wired Magazine app.

Wow this Adobe CS5 Master Collection is awesome. What a fantastic integrated suite of design and development products. I installed this product last night and I am so impressed. Great work Adobe development teams. I am going to enjoy this trial phase. I will be buying the eLearning Suite 2 when it is released in June 2010

Bill-Ortiz iPhone App

It was serendipity today that while I was using my iPhone with Facebook I looked up suddenly and voila there was our friend Bill Ortiz announcing his brand new iPhone app. I am impressed by this step in Bill’s career. I downloaded the app that Todd Tate built for him right away. I love being an early adopter 🙂

I urge you to give Bill Ortiz’s free iPhone app a spin. You can learn about his current recording, From Where I Stand. You can also download his EP, Judgement Day (The Remixes) with this iPhone app for $1.99 and receive a free digital booklet.  Bill’s iPhone app promotes his Web site and MySpace pages along with his Twitter account. Smart move Bill.

I must get in touch with Todd Tate, the 5th Beatle to compare notes with him sometime about Web design and social media. I’m a big fan of both technologies.

Click here to view Bill Ortiz’s app on Apple’s iTunes store.

Universal Usability – So Cool ;)

I am working on my course project paper for my Capella University graduate course, The Delivery of Distance Education. While compiling research I was referencing the Web Style Guide by Patrick J. Lynch and Sarah Horton and I discovered yet another reference gem by Sarah Horton, Access by Design. I just had to share it with you. 🙂

Absolutely Love This Video

The reissue of The Rolling Stones, Exile on Main Street had a triumphant week of publicity, with a weeklong tribute on The Jimmy Fallon Show. Totally fascinated with the Robert Frank cubic photographic cover from the Fifties.
