Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band at the Apollo

Last night we listened to Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band performing Live at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. This was a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. We listened to the live broadcast on Bruce Channel 20.

Sirius made the night engaging with a social media experience that encouraged people at the show to Twitter pic their phone camera and other pictures live to the Web. It was cool to get real time images of Bruce, the band and the crowd streaming on the Sirius home page. As each song got played you could see what the band was doing, where Bruce was going, sometimes standing on chairs in the audience, other times at the lip of the balcony, with his microphone in hand, facing the stage. He even climbed down the side of the wall by using the sky boxes ladder scheme. Not bad for a 62 year old guy. He keeps himself in great physical shape.
