One of my favorite jam bands, Gov’t Mule has a really cool Halloween show tradition. The band will play an entire second set of music by a classic rock group on Halloween night. The tradition started with The Holy Haunted House set in 2007. Gov’t Mule performed Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy album.

The concert became so popular Govt Mule remixed the show from Mule Tracks their live vault Web site that warehouses the live Govt Mule shows for fans and now sell it as a 2-CD audio recording.

This year at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Halloween Gov’t Mule will perform the music of Jimi Hendrix. I mean after all “with the power of soul, anything is possible” 😉

Love my Mule 🙂
